I've been with Voices.com all of a month now, but I am pretty well versed in the process of audition... and audition... and audition.
Until a week or so ago I was feeling kinda blah about the whole thing, but had a sunny disposition. I mean, after all, who doesn't need practice?
Never having done the kind of ominous-sounding trailer voice the client sought for his upcoming book's video preview, I wasn't expecting a call back. BUT...
So after that connection I am fortunate enough to be reading the whole book for him soon. Pretty cool! Look ma, I'm an audiobook person!
Yesterday I picked up a role as a Brit "interpreter voice" for a small documentary. Cheers!
My membership's paying for itself, and that's all I wanted. Of course, there is the "and then some"... that seems to be a strong possibility.
Thanks!
