How has Voices.com helped you with your project needs?
We used Voices.com to audition, bid and hire a VO talent to perform 3x :15 sec web spots. We posted the scripts online and received over 80 responses in less than a day.
We were then able to audition our top picks for the client in time to the video. The client was thrilled. We then selected and hired Dave DeAndrea and he gave us final .wav files in just a couple of days. We also did a conference call with the agency prior to the recording to provide direction.
How did you select the talent?
We browsed the talent in the search engine in addition to our job posting and invited about 5 talent to audition, but Dave DeAndrea, our choice, was not one of the personally invited. He responded to the job posting at Voices.com.
We made our final decision by listening to his audition against the spot.
What challenges did you face using the Voices.com system to find talent?
The challenge on this project was a very short timeline. We mixed the final spot 4 days after we posted it and we could have done it even sooner by using Voices.com.
How would you describe your overall experience with the site?
We were able to quickly audition, hire and get final VO recorded very quickly and at a very fair price.
The talents were of professional grade and we will be making use of this service again for voiceover casting needs.
Our overall experience could not have been better.
