What A Difference Voices.com Has Made in My Life

Hi, this is Lori Taylor. I've been invited to tell you a little bit about myself and my successful relationship with Voices.com. I guess I should probably start by mentioning that I've been a voice talent for over 35 years, and because I live in the great college town of Gainesville, Florida (Go, Gators!), I used to have to travel several hours to recording studios in Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.

I finally decided I'd had enough of the "Have voice, will travel" scenario so my wonderful husband built me a state-of-the-art home studio. No more long days away from home, I just walk into my studio, turn on my computer and let Voices.com send me auditions that perfectly fit my profile. The caliber of the jobs has been fantastic.

I'd like to tell you about two of my favorite clients that found me through Voices.com. The first one is Robbie Conaway with RC PoP Art. Actually, when Voices.com recently interviewed Robbie, he graciously focused on his work with me on various projects so I was really pleased.

Robbie first booked me from an audition for a New York, overly chatty woman who was trying to buy a laminator for her boss. After that, Robbie has booked me regularly as a customer service operator, and it's been especially fun because he sketched her to look just like me in the visuals.

I guess my biggest success story though, financially and otherwise, has been as the principal female talent for a huge videogame. We've just completed milestone 4 and it's been an incredible journey that I've shared with Scooter Fortney and Gray Gleason. The three of us have had fun creating numerous character voices in an educational fantasy world.

The game is produced in China and the graphics are indescribably beautiful. I'm truly honored to be a part of this amazing project. My meat and potatoes work is primarily technical eLearning, commercials, corporate training and tour narrations.

I'm very, very thankful to the Lord for blessing me with so many wonderful clients, and Voices.com is a big part of that blessing. Thanks to them and the miracle of technology, my voice is now heard throughout the world. No more traveling for hours in my car! Thanks Voices.com, what a difference you've made in my life!
