How did you select the talent?

We were looking for voices that could suit some of the characters we were developing for our educational product - TheSparklingMinds.com. While scouting around for the talents, we found that the world was filled with voice over artists. Initially, we had a terrible time searching, locating and sorting through various options. And then, we came across voices.com, and we were able to quickly audition various artistes before zeroing in on the right ones.

We used the talent search engine to narrow our search based on the certain quirks we were looking for. And then we sent invites to a select few of them before choosing the final artist - Sophie N - who turned out to be just right for our project!

We were looking for an artist who could do child voices - both the voice of a boy and girl. We wanted the voice to be very 'clear', and stressed on proper pronunciations. We had pages and pages of voice recording to be done. We were also not sure how to 'direct' the voice given that the artist would be half a world away from us. As with all projects, we had fixed a budget for voice, and we weren't sure if we could find an artist who would meet all these conditions for the price we could pay.

What struck me the first time I used voices.com was how structured and safe the whole platform (SurePay) was. It guided me through the various steps; made sure we had an agreement in place with the artist, and ensured my money was paid only after the job was satisfactorily completed. Very professional indeed!

Sophie N was extremely professional, and we did not have to direct her too much. All we'd had to do was write some remarks on the script where we needed different modulations. The pricing was extremely competitive too.

How would you describe your overall experience with the site?

Now that I've found Voices.com, finding the right voices for future projects doesn't scare me at all. I'm aware now that there is this network of people who are sure to deliver the voices I need on time. I am using the same talent for most of our current work. But we have some work coming up where we need Hindi voice overs, and I see there are Hindi voiceover artists also registered at voices.com.

I will definitely recommend Voices.com to my other business contacts.
