I Have Booked 20 Projects as a Direct Result of My Affiliation With Voices.com (within 4 months!)

Kyle WilsonHi Stephanie,

Just wanted to share some Buzz with you and the gang.

I have been a member of Voices.com for just four months. As of this writing, I have now booked 20 projects as a direct result of my affiliation with the website. Nearly three-quarters of these were through the open cattle-call audition process and SurePay system, while the others were from people who (gasp) just happened to "find" me here.

Membership with Voices.com is a no-brainer and with each new job that comes along, I kick myself for not taking the plunge sooner.

Thank you very much for your fantastic customer service and easy access to the online marketplace.

Kyle

Great Clients Hire Me and My Voice at Voices.com

Ed MaceI worked with Ed Roman of Ghostfire Games for a number of characters in Rage of the Gladiator and provided the voice for Ixthid. The client was fun to work with, offers excellent direction, and is very professional.

Also, Aaron Linne of B&H Publishing is great to work with, knows what he likes, and is a true professional. The trailer should be out soon... can't wait!

Lastly, I got to play the part of a talking, wise cracking french fry for Clay LaFargue's company.

Lots of fun!

Thanks Voices.com,

Ed Mace

Voices.com is Not Just a Service, it is a Partner.

peter-glass-microphone-image.jpgI sometimes think that no one is listening. I submit so many auditions and that is the end of it. But, just like a golfer that hits a perfect drive, sometimes everything clicks: the audition is well received, the quote is in range, and the client communicates exactly what their needs are for the job. And in back of it all is Voices.com.

I'm on board with five different services but when renewal times come up again, that number is dropping to one, and that one is Voices.com. The people there have always answered my questions and addressed my concerns, not with some one size fits all answer, but with an answer that is specific to me.

When I dropped out of the service for four months last year they got back to me in a way that showed that they had personally looked at my site and listened to my demos. The suggestions they made were on the money and now, I am seeing something more than light at the end of the tunnel because of those suggestions.

This most recent job was for a casino in the western part of the states. From the time that the client bought my voice, Voices.com was right there with business agreements, milestone charts, etc, etc, etc.

Bottom line is that although I am physically located some nine hundred miles south of Texas, deep in the heart of Mexico, the programs and people of Voices.com keep me feeling as if I had an assistant sitting at the next desk taking care of all the minutiae needed to bring a project to fruition.

Funds were released this afternoon right on time. Voices.com is not just a service, it is a partner.

Posting a Job and Working with Talent at Voices.com is a Breeze!

D&S Creative CommunicationsThanks to the folks at Voices.com for running such a site. Posting the job and working with the talent is a breeze!

The only issue - not really! - was the 111 responses in a 3-day period. It was too many to audition in the time available. So, only the first 30 in the list were actually auditioned for the 3 voices we needed.

It's great that this resource is available. Getting auditions and finished files back like nothing before!

I would like to express what a great place Voices.com is for non-English talents

Michiru YabuBeing a Japanese VO in the international market, opportunities to get jobs is less than English VOs.

However, competitors seeking voiceover work is also less in Japan, the home country.

Being able to communicate in English and being capable of providing translation of the script is the advantage that I have over many others.

Voices.com is one of the best tools for me to spotlight my skills to get jobs.

If you are looking for Japanese or any other foreign language VO talent, what will you do?
If you can't communicate in the target language, it is sometimes impossible to find a talent within the target market (country) that you'll be able to communicate with.

Not all VO talent who are native of the target language can communicate in English. I like to think that Voices.com performs like an international airport (hub).

Clients who are looking for a right candidate fly by like an airplane carrying scripts and money. VO talents are passengers who are waiting for the right airplane to arrive.

Voices.com is the one of a few places where I can find opportunities I am
looking for or that are right for my skills.

I do not want to end up with just being "Japanese VO" who only works within Japan.

Having a tool like Voices.com, I can fly virtually all over the world where opportunities are.
One more thing I really like about Voices.com is the different membership levels.

Being non-English VO talent, there are lesser jobs in the international market. There are fewer job posts compared to English jobs, sometimes none in a few months. Voices.com gives me an option to join on monthly basis.

If I see a good job posting, I join, if no jobs are posted for a while, I ask customer service to stop my membership to prevent renewal.

I know it is such hassle for them but they always treat me like a valuable customer. I appreciate the flexibility very much. Having such an option is a great thing for us and Voices.com is the only place where such a great option is provided.

Globalization is the key marketing strategy now. I am sure the demands for non-English VO talents will increase more and more in the near future.

I would like to express how great place Voices.com is for non-English VO talents like myself.

Thank you,

Michiru Yabu

Voices.com Is My Go-To For Positivity, Resources, and Clients!

Dana DetrickI've been an active member of Voices.com for several years now, but as the economy started to take a nose dive and traditional clients tightened their purse strings, I've found Voices to be my 'go-to' for positivity, resources, and most importantly, clients!

Just had another great experience with a new client who found me via the Voices.com site. He had never used your service before, but easily navigated through the process, and we both enjoyed an easy working relationship (without any worry) thanks to SurePay.

Thank you again, Voices.com, for being so consistently great!

My Nancy Wolfson Demo is Getting Me Bookings at Voices.com!

Amy KingHi Stephanie,

I recently joined Voices.com, and wanted to share a quick success story with you!

I am a working VO actor, based out of Los Angeles, and while I've been getting work through various sources, including my agent, I wanted to branch out further to find job opportunities. My voice coach, Nancy Wolfson, recommended I get a Premium membership at Voices.com.

So I joined a couple months ago. I was busy with life, however, and didn't complete my profile right away.

Finally, I got my act together a couple weeks ago and posted my commercial and narration demos. I submitted one audition, and submitted my demo to another potential client.

A couple DAYS later, I received a message, from an interested client - who had only heard my demo, which Nancy made with me recently. We emailed back and forth a couple times and... ta-da!... I won the job!

So literally within DAYS of uploading my demo, I was hired for a job, which has paid for my premium membership!

So I just wanted to say THANK YOU for providing this avenue for voiceover actors to enhance their careers!

I look forward to many more opportunities coming my way through Voices.com (in fact, I've just responded to another person who's interested in hiring me from my demo posted on voices.com!) YAY!

Thanks so much, Stephanie!

Best,

Amy King
