I would like to express what a great place Voices.com is for non-English talents

Michiru YabuBeing a Japanese VO in the international market, opportunities to get jobs is less than English VOs.

However, competitors seeking voiceover work is also less in Japan, the home country.

Being able to communicate in English and being capable of providing translation of the script is the advantage that I have over many others.

Voices.com is one of the best tools for me to spotlight my skills to get jobs.

If you are looking for Japanese or any other foreign language VO talent, what will you do?
If you can't communicate in the target language, it is sometimes impossible to find a talent within the target market (country) that you'll be able to communicate with.

Not all VO talent who are native of the target language can communicate in English. I like to think that Voices.com performs like an international airport (hub).

Clients who are looking for a right candidate fly by like an airplane carrying scripts and money. VO talents are passengers who are waiting for the right airplane to arrive.

Voices.com is the one of a few places where I can find opportunities I am
looking for or that are right for my skills.

I do not want to end up with just being "Japanese VO" who only works within Japan.

Having a tool like Voices.com, I can fly virtually all over the world where opportunities are.
One more thing I really like about Voices.com is the different membership levels.

Being non-English VO talent, there are lesser jobs in the international market. There are fewer job posts compared to English jobs, sometimes none in a few months. Voices.com gives me an option to join on monthly basis.

If I see a good job posting, I join, if no jobs are posted for a while, I ask customer service to stop my membership to prevent renewal.

I know it is such hassle for them but they always treat me like a valuable customer. I appreciate the flexibility very much. Having such an option is a great thing for us and Voices.com is the only place where such a great option is provided.

Globalization is the key marketing strategy now. I am sure the demands for non-English VO talents will increase more and more in the near future.

I would like to express how great place Voices.com is for non-English VO talents like myself.

Thank you,

Michiru Yabu
