Persistence Definitely Pays Off
Hi Stephanie,
I wanted to share a recent experience with a client on Voices. Aaron Pacentine puts together the OzCast series for VideosforFamily.com. I was happy to be a part of the final episode of the year as narrator, along with some other great voice actors.

I have been a part of the Voices.com community for a few years now and persistence definitely pays off. For anyone who isn't getting results from their auditions (I was one of them), sometimes it just takes time and keeping at it. You never know what a client is 'listening' for when they hear your voice.
I am happy to be a part of this project and just wanted to share that feeling.

Auditioned in the Morning, Got Booked in the Afternoon!
Hi Stephanie,
I just wanted to thank you for the new teleseminar series.
After listening the the "Mastering The Audition" teleseminar a few times, I decided to make some changes. Updated my profile, my demos, and more specifically, the way I audition. Such as delivering more than one take and approaching my proposals more like a job interview in briefly explaining to the client why they should hire me for their project.
I tried this for the first time with an audition on the morning of December 21st and received a response from the client offering me the job early that afternoon. The client said specifically that he thought I had a firm grasp of what their project entailed. I haven't changed my recording methods, equipment or technique really, I just gave the client a few more takes and reasons why I should be hired for their job and voilà! I got the job.
I appreciate Voices.com for always striving to help voice actors to grow in their craft. You have been a tremendous help to me in my career. I am convinced that I am landing more jobs all the time partly because of the great tips and insights I have learned from you.

Working With My First Voices.com Client
I began to get a bit discouraged after auditioning for 2 months and never seeing any results.
Finally, I got my first job and it was an extremely pleasant experience with the client.
All in all, it was very professional and well, just a nice Christmas present to have gotten my first job with Voices.com and wish for many more.

I Cannot Tell You How Much Voices.com Has Helped My Career
I cannot tell you how much Voices.com has helped my career. I want to thank you guys for being so thorough and dedicated.
The $299.00 per year is a drop in the bucket compared to what I make from your site, which is in the thousands (in less than a year).
I started Falzon Productions LLC years ago, but it was inactive until just recently. I never thought my business would be active and growing as it is now, thanks to God (always) and online voice-casting. I am excited to share my experience and help others be successful as well.

A $13,000 Voice Over Project When All is Done

I just wanted to let you know that I was awarded a job today.
Due to the nature of the project and budget constraints, the client elected to work offline from Voices.com. But I know you like to hear about these things so I thought I would let you know.

I've Landed 3 Audiobooks Through Voices.com

I just wanted to give a quick thanks to you, David and your team at Voices.com as well as pass on that this summer I landed an audio book project for Harper Collins Publishers through Voices.com. Since that time I have landed two other audio book jobs with the same client because of the relationship that started with this client at Voices.com.

I Consider Voices.com to be a Valuable Tool in my VO Arsenal
I was approached by a production company via my web-page (and email) here at voices.com, asking if I would be interested in voicing a commercial for them on behalf of their client, whom was not named.
It was to be about diabetes type 2 research.
Wow! This was a couple of days after I re-signed up with you guys for paid membership.
Of course, I was thrilled...
1) to be INVITED without having to apply or formally audition.
2) because as an ex nurse of 30 years, diabetes is a subject that is of interest to me, both on a professional, and a personal level.
Personal level, because I have family members who have this affliction and who have difficulty with their blood sugar levels.
So we agreed on a price and I received the script a few days before the recording session. That was when I found out who my client was.
So the ad was voiced and produced, and I received a copy of the finished product just a couple of days ago. It is now my primary demo on my page.
I have to say that the gentleman from the production company was just that! Very professional, very kind and reassuring (this was my first job recorded in a studio other than my own, and my first big name job!... I was nervous, and anxious because of who the client was.. concerned that I would do a good job for them, and also at that time dealing with some very serious personal issues with hubby's health. So it was quite a bitter-sweet time for me)
Thanks voices! For a while I was thinking this site was a waste of my money, but now my whole perspective has altered and I consider you to be a valuable tool in my vo arsenal.
