Hi Ashley,
My voiceover year has taken off with a "shot" as the saying goes. However, I would be remiss not to mention that I am a Voices "long-timer". Over the years, I've had bookings through Voices and really believe it's a marathon and not a sprint.
An original booking through Interactive Voices (smile) 3 years ago, landed me an Announcer gig on the fishing show featured on ESPN2 Sunday at 9:30 AM "The Spanish Fly" which I 'm still doing. I had a great booking for the voice of a bucolic west Indian wanderer for "Red Robin" restaurants. Voices also was instrumental in steering me towards another "sweet gig" as the Voice of "Fatburger" the burger chain for a year.
Most recently, Voices reared it's "pretty" head again. KTXA in Dallas was looking for a voice to do station ID's, tags, Promos for the Big 12, Dallas Mavericks basketball etc. So, that led to an annual deal which is ongoing.
I don't know what year it was, ask Stephanie. I spoke to her at it's inception. Voices has been consistent, professional, and dynamic in keeping up with changing media.
