I got into the voiceover business many years ago back in the UK, commentating on Snowboard events. When I came to the US, I had no thoughts of getting back into it, because I associated it with Snowboarding, and I knew no-one here in the industry.
Years later at the insistence of an American friend who knew of my past, and who later sent a demo to one of my now regular clients, Hitachi, I re-launched my VO career.
But the most inspirational help I have had, has been Voices.com. From the great podcasts, blogs and articles to someone actually calling me up to help me maximize the potential of my page on the site. You guys have truly helped get me where I am today in this business.
