When it comes to receiving audio files from voice talents, how do you prefer that they send them to you?
Do you have very specific needs or is plain old MP3 via FTP sufficient for you?
Leave your comments here on this post!
In a digital world, it seems like there are almost too many conveniences!
One of those bountiful gifts of technology is the ability to send and receive multimedia files over the Internet - that folks includes audio!
Whether it's email, FTP, Source-Connect, Skype, or a good old fashioned CD in the mail, how do you prefer to receive digital audio files?
Leave a comment here (also if you could, state what your feelings are about ISDN in today's marketplace).
Cheers!

I like receiving raw, high quality WAVs via email or FTP. As an editor, this format allows me the best options for doing my work (especially if I've already heard great samples from their studio, and know what to expect ahead of time!).
This is also more convenient for me that ISDN (though I know it's still important overall in the marketplace), because it allows me to work on other projects at the same time they're preparing my files. I can then retrieve their files, once they're finished, at my convenience.
Its important I have flexibility, but if times important I need to keep that in mind too.
So, in an ideal world, a ftp and then a flac compressed (its like a wav but half the size) helps get it to me the fastest.
How could I deliver my streaming audio?
