I'm a 22 year old woman who has acted from 6th to 12th grade, and in college. I love the theater, but I also would like to be a voice actress. My favorite type of voice over work I would like to do is either in anime or any types of cartoon shows/animation films. My only downside is that I would really only like jobs that are available in Houston because I can't really travel out of the city a lot. However, there is one other option I would consider. FUNdamation, which is the company who dubs many animes, is located in Dallas, TX. If I can possibly submit a recording to them and accept me possibly using me in future animes, I will definitely move there so I can work as a voice actress for them.

I am trying to find a way to audition my voice, can you help?
When I was in the Army my drill instructors said I had a voice that commanded attention. The other day in a restaurant the waiter asked me this question .Are you on television your voice sounds familiar? I said no but I would look into this potential. I told the waiter I would be happy to do a radio or TV add for the restaurant free. This could be fun and why not use your natural talent. I have no work experience. Either you have the natural gift or not such as my deep voice the training can enhance this gift.

hey i luv 2 act and ive been in sooooo many plays and i realy want to act 4 a living ive tried everything from instantcast.com to big acting agencies like u but none have said any thing. our school (becouse of me) has won the uil award 3 times and the school is 3 years old so plz help me become a star i would split my profits 50 50 with u plz help me become a star and acieve my dreams
I use to do voice over spots for my college radio and telivison station and would love to get back into it. I have a demo together but i do not hav the experience in booking jobs. I am looking for an agent and hopefully this can be the boost i need. I have a deep smopth voice gret for narrating, evil villians for cartoons, and radio pillow talk.

I've been told, too many times, I should be on radio or doing voice-overs. I suspect I have to first make a tape and then mail it to various agencies. Could someone please suggest an organization which not only knows what to put into such a tape but, as well, can work with me to make one?
