World Cup Fever: Germany 2006

Get in the game and listen to an amazing World Cup Round Table Podcast

Greetings,

A whiff of patriotism may have zoomed by your nose, particularly if you are a fan of Soccer, or as most of the world refers to it, the game of Football.

World Cup 2006 is being hosted in Germany this year, but in truth, the World Cup affects people all over the world regardless of language, nationality, and location.

Because football is one of the uniting global passions, I thought it would be a great idea to give you the opportunity to let us know which countries you are from and the teams you are supporting.

I am extremely excited to get to know more of you, hearing from our International as well as North American readers.

Brian Noe referred me to a podcast / blog that one of his friends is involved with.

Click here to read the blog (contributed to by six American soccer bloggers) and listen to the podcast.

In the spirit of the World Cup, leave a comment on the blog and mention the country you are from!

Best wishes,

Stephanie

P.S. If you are announcing at any of these games, whether it be live on the field or giving the news updates, I'd love to hear from you too. Comment on the blog and if applicable, share the stations that your matches will be covered on.
