Bob Worthington, an on-air talent who made the leap from radio to voice-overs works on his own schedule, 15 hours a day.
Bob Worthington understands what it takes to be a professional voice actor. Thirty years of broadcast radio experience and working around the clock developed a work ethic of Herculean proportions, a strict regiment that Bob sticks to, even to this day.
A veteran of broadcast radio, Bob Worthington was an on-air personality working in major markets such as Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC, and for nine years was the host and producer of one of the most popular radio programs in radio history, Solid Gold Saturday Nightâ€. The program was heard by millions on as many as 300 radio stations in the United States, and on over 35 radio stations in Canada during its peak in the late 1980s.
Bob began his voice-over career in 1998 while working in Baltimore at WQSR. During this time, Bob spent fifteen grueling hours each day between working at the station and freelance voice-over. One of Bob's first national commercial campaigns was for Bacardi Rum. In the year 2005, Bob became a full-time voice talent, and still finds himself working 15 hours days, but this time with all of the benefits of working from his professional-grade home recording studio.
Bob is very ambitious, and believes in putting the customer first. When someone hires Bob, they gain his wealth of experience, talent, and outstanding customer service, even on the weekend.
Bob has discovered that the voice-over business is incredible.
