My wife and I started doing voices to entertain our small children, and were surprised as they grew older that they developed their own characters for our stories. Now, a simple switch "into character" sparks laughter and smiles all around. They love it, and I'd love to give them this book to help them in their efforts!

At just 3 and a half, William did his first "recording session", and I now proudly hear him as the ring tone for my phone. This book was written for him, I'm sure...

He's also beginnining to mimic voices from TV and PlayStation... wonder if he'll get an agent before he's four? Unlikely, but the future really is exciting, isn't it. You can see his fun here: http://www.voiceoveruniverse.com/photo/albums/william-at-work

My youngest, Samantha, has done more voiceover this year than any other and our hope is that, since she enjoys it, she will choose to continue this "career"as she grows. She is the voice of a toy called Chatterbox, but not by using any "cartoon" techniques. In the past 6 months, she has been reenacting scenes from TV shows and movies...accents included, far more than ever before. So, when I saw this Vox Daily post, I had to be a "good daddy" and enter.

WOW! Aside from the fact that there are some kids in my family who not only ARE characters themselves, but could probably portray them--I (being a cartoon voice over artist myself) would gain tremendously from the insight Sunday has to offer. To paraphrase the Three Stooges..."Shall we start with Sunday? Well why not start right now...?"

I have been in the radio and voiceover industry for some time, now. The one thing that has been holding me back, from going to "the next level" is a home studio! Santa...if you are listening...that would be GREAT! LOL

Kids with seemingly no sounds in them... once they get the feel of playing around with pitch, tonality...and making a voice or two... they stop hidding and have fun instead. I would love to see the book and start helping more kids to speak up... in a fun and engaging way.

In the past couple of months, he's started doing different character voices for me every morning - this book sounds like a great read for him - for years to come.

I also have 2 wonderful talented daughters. They both attend a performing arts school in Midland, PA.

They perform in musical theater productions, and show an interest in my passion. Sunday Muse’s new book looks great and I thought I would comment and see if I could get lucky! And good luck Ms. Muse with your book.
