Midway through the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games, I thought it would be fitting to profile an actor whose voice stands strong and is a champion in his own right.
Michael J. Fox appears in a commercial promoting the Canadian province of British Columbia among other actors who call BC home... but perhaps the most memorable and touching is the commercial I'm about to share with you that aired before Canada's victory over Norway.
Take a look at the Michael J. Fox of today as he embraces his home once again in today's VOX Daily.
Michael J. Fox is every inch a Canadian. You may know him best for his roles on sitcoms Family Ties and Spin City, for starring roles in the Back To The Future movies, and for his title voice acting role in the film Stuart Little. He has also recorded his own books, including "Lucky Man" and "Always Looking Up."
Recently the 48 year-old husband and father (born June 9, 1961) was featured in a pre-game commercial aired before the Canada VS Norway game at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games.
His fighting spirit, courage and love of the game was beautifully displayed in the following video, reminding all Canadians that hockey truly is our game and how the sport defines us as a people.
Nothing can keep him down. Parkinson's disease cannot keep him down... in fact, it has made him even more vital and has given him a new lease on life to dedicate his energy to his family, his faith and causes he firmly believes in.
With a glowing heart and true patriot love, Michael J. Fox pours his all into the following presentation.
Thank you for inspiring so many people and for using your voice in ways that matter.
If you have any comments for Michael J. Fox or about this video, feel free to add your thoughts!
P.S. I am aware that the video is no longer available as CTV just claimed the copyright through YouTube. Due to technical difficulties, the new source of the video will be edited in tomorrow! Thank you for your patience and understanding. For the meantime, you can check out CTV to locate the video.Related Topics: audiobooks, Canada, Michael J.
