I'm writing to you from the VOICE 2010 conference in Los Angeles where I, among hundreds of other voice over people, will from June 2nd through June 5th, 2010.
Want to know how to keep up with what's going on here without having to leave home?
Stay tuned to Voices.com on Twitter, Facebook and of course, VOX Daily!
Today (Wednesday June 2) marks the opening kickoff event of VOICE 2010. In about an hour or so, voice actors from around the US, Canada and overseas will be gathering for a Red Carpet Reception.
For people who are generally heard and not seen, this event is quite extraordinary and has helped to put faces to the voices we have heard and become familiar with over the years.
I'll be attending a number of presentations and events, some of which will receive coverage on VOX Daily as feature articles and others as mentions via the Voices.com Facebook Page and our Twitter feed, http://www.twitter.com/voicesdotcom. If you use Twitter, search for the hashtag #voice2010 as many people are already tagging their tweets with this hashtag with regard to VOICE 2010.
Tomorrow is particularly exciting for Voices.com as we'll be participating on a panel called "When All is Said," featuring companies (along with their representatives) that provide services to voice over talent including Kevin Klinger of SmartSound Software, Robert Marshall, a founding partner of Source Elements, Brian Vermiere of Holdon Log, and yours truly, Stephanie Ciccarelli, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Voices.com. Curt Byk will serve as moderator for this interesting session.
Leave a comment if you are also attending VOICE 2010 or are attending virtually by reading VOX Daily or getting updates via social networks.
Cheers,
Stephanie
