Stephanie- This is just another reason why I prefer Voices.com over other sites. While these appear to be targeted for new voice over folks, I'm sure I'll find a nugget or two of useful info. Thank you for these great learning opportunities! -JCD

Hello my name is Bryan Quinn, I'm 16 years old and I am interested in having a voice over career. I have an exceptionaly deep voice for my age and I was wondering if there was any way I could pursue this career while going to high school.

            Hi Brian,

Thank you for commenting and I hope all is well with you. To answer your question, there are a number of activities you could pursue to help train your voice and develop a greater appreciation for voice over and voice acting.

I recommend that you listen to the Voice Over Experts podcast found here:

            http://podcasts.voices.com/voiceoverexperts

Also, reading VOX Daily (the blog you commented on) is a great source of information that will help you. Another idea is to listen to every voice over you hear and study what those who are already successful in the business are doing in your market and beyond.

If you are looking to pursue post-secondary education to support a career in voice acting, check out universities or colleges that offer theatre, drama or acting programs.

            Best wishes,

            Stephanie
