Updates Affecting Talent
We are constantly working to improve our current site and also develop new, useful features for our voice talent members to give them a richer experience using the site. As people who use the site day in day out, it is important that we continue to hear from you and also receive your ideas and suggestions on how you feel we could make Voices.com even better for you.
Here are a number of improvements and additions we've made over the last 6 months to better serve you.
My Account Activity
If you had noticed that your profile was showing as 95% complete when you knew it was 100% complete, you'll be happy to note that the The Profile Completeness Meter is now functioning correctly. What happened? After we changed from primary language to multiple languages a little while ago, members who had complete profiles saw their meter reading as 95% due to the system accounting for old language-related fields that were no longer necessary.
If you were racking your brain trying to figure out what else you had to do to complete your profile, check in again and breathe a sigh of relief :)
You might have noticed that your Voices.com store is more prominently displayed on your profile to showcase individual products for sale. If you aren't making use of your Voices.com Store, log in to your account and create some products! Here's a tutorial to learn more about how you can do this.
References to Testimonials
On the Feedback page and in the Profile Edit pages the References section has now been renamed as Testimonials to make it more evident to talent what the sections were for. I'm particularly pleased about this change as Testimonials more accurately represents what you're including.
à¹ A demo file is now required for submission.
à¹ Your quote cannot be less than $100.
à¹ An audition review indicator was implemented on August 16th and is not retroactive. The indicator will update to show that your audition was reviewed when the client clicks on the flash player to hear your demo.
à¹ You can now see individual listens in a special column under the "Demos" section.
à¹ All uploaded demos can be viewed from your member website. Previously only the most recent 5 demos were displayed.

In an earlier post, I covered how the language fields have changed (you can read it here). To reiterate, we have replaced the Primary and Other Language fields with the option to specify up to 5 individual languages. How does this work? When identifying your language skills, list the languages in the order of fluency with your native language being the first selected and so on.
