In 2007 Voices.com launched a news site for the voice over industry called Voice Over Times. Due to the rapid growth at Voices.com we had to discontinue publishing at Voice Over Times for a couple of years.
Fast forward to present day and we are now able to dedicate time once again to our beloved news site and we would like to invite you to participate.
Read more to find out how you can get published!
There are a number of ways to get involved at Voice Over Times. No matter which way you choose to participate please include appropriate links, sources and images. Email any of the following to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Send us tips on breaking or recent news related to the voice over industry. Please keep it to a couple sentences and provide a link to the source of the news.
If you have a topic that you'd like to see covered, pitch your story idea to us. We may contact you to request an interview or to verify facts, if appropriate. Please keep pitches short and to the point. Ideally, tell us your story idea in three paragraphs or less.
If you have an announcement related to your voice over business please send us your press release for consideration. Please be sure to include an image and at least one quote in your press release.
If you enjoy writing and would like to contribute to the site please feel free to send us your articles. They should be written in an unbiased news format presenting facts (not conversational like a blog post). Please include an image and state your sources. Word count should be between 250-450 words. You will receive author credit and a link back to your personal website.
There are four main sections plus Headlines. Headlines are hot topics from any of the categories listed below. We reserve the right to determine which stories to use as headlines. There is no opinion section but we do accept professionally written movie, product, or service reviews in each section.
The entertainment section covers stories related to voice over in the entertainment industry such as animated movies, animated television programs, entertainment award shows, award nominations, entertainment unions, celebrity voice overs, non-celebrity achievements, and so on.
The business section covers news related to the business side of VO. This could be new products, services, strategies, book releases, blogs, or podcasts related to voice over. We're also interested in hearing about your own achievements in terms of awards you've won recently, high profile voice over work and the like.
In this section we cover newly released voice over gear and tools of the trade. Reviews are welcome!
In the media section we cover upcoming voice over events, contests, giveaways, and more.
Please be sure to visit the site to get an even better idea of what types of stories we publish on Voice Over Times.
Once again, the best way to submit your news, stories, press releases and articles is to email your submissions to email@example.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
