    I'm so excited to listen to all of the responses, we already got one! - Jennifer Smith with Voices.com :)

      I'd give it a whirl, but not without some basic input from you folks on how you want Voices.com to come across, which would include some basic facts you'd like to have included. Otherwise, too much guessing involved. I'd rather spend more time on the presentation, and less on figuring out whether I've said what you want to hear.

        Hello Jim,

        The script writing can be the most challenging part but we do encourage lots of creativity in this process. You can always refer to the Voices.com About Us section for information on how Voices.com operates and our company overview. Hope this helps! Can't wait to hear your submission. Best of luck

            Sounds less like a VO contest and more like a writing/producing contest. Am I missing something? Wouldn't the proper way to evaluate voice talent be to have everyone read the same thing? Unless this is less about the voice talent and more about crowdsourcing a nearly free spot. Close to target or off-base?

                You didn't say exactly how or where this "radio" commercial would be used, but my guess is that it will be used in the US and Canada as part of an actual radio campaign.

                Very clever way to get:

                * scriptwriting
                * personal endorsement
                * talent
                * complete production (I wonder if the music royalties will be paid)

                ...at your cost of providing the service to the winner and giving the winner a chance for a chance.

                The talent fee for a radio spot like that in the US-only would probably ring in at $1200.

                Great contest!

                ...OH...all other submissions become your property. *hehehe*

                    Hi,

                    Where, in the 30 seconds of the spot, do we have to include our name? I have completed a commercial, but it is already 30 seconds and I have not included my name in it yet.

                      Earl Shipley - Thank you for your comment. We didn't really want to put a restraint on the creative aspect for this contest. If we provided the same script for all submissions, it may have limited the creativity and we wanted to keep it open for everyone's interpretation. Hope that clears up your question and I hope to hear your submission as well. Best of luck! :-)

                      Steve Hammill - Thank you for your question and comments. As stated in the article, "As the winner, your radio commercial will be aired 10 times on the medium market radio station, 102.3 BOB FM in London, Ontario Canada."

                      Here is the list of prizes for the winner for your reference:
                      ๏ The voice of Voices.com's Radio Commercial aired 10 times on 102.3 BOB FM
                      ๏ Given a 1-year Premium Annual Membership (valued at $299)
                      ๏ Featured in a VOX Daily article
                      ๏ Promoted through Voices.com's social media channels

                      Gregory Whitfield – Thanks for your question. You are welcome to add your name into the commercial where ever you see fit. My recommendation would be somewhere in the beginning or introduction. Just a thought and best of luck Gregory. I look forward to your submission.
