The Voices.com Android App Is Coming!

For all who have been waiting for the Voices.com Android app, your wait is nearly over!
After many months of developing a special Voices.com application for Android devices, I'm pleased to announce that the Voices.com Android app will be released on Friday January 18th, 2013.
There are many exciting activities coming up around the launch of our newest app including a media blitz, a party and a fun contest!
As part of the celebration, we're giving away a Premium membership to Voices.com!

The day has nearly arrived!
On Friday January 18th, 2013 we will be releasing the Voices.com App for Android to Google Play.
We're excited to be able to provide more of our wonderful customers with access to Voices.com via their smartphones and mobile devices. I know that this has been a long time coming and we appreciate your patience for this long awaited expression of Voices.com!
What Can You Do With The Voices.com Android App?
Just like the iOS apps, you will be able to do everything from creating an account through using the built-in audio recorder to record voice samples for your profile and custom auditions. I trust you'll find auditioning in general to be easy. You will also be able to communicate with clients who have reached out to you via Voices.com.
The Top 100 talent in most favourited, newly hired, and most listened to categories will also be featured.
From what I have heard from our developers, the Android app is going to rock and I can't wait to hear about your thoughts once you've downloaded the app later this week.
Design Preview of the Voices.com Android App
If you're at all curious, you can watch the following webinar recordings wherein Voices.com CEO David Ciccarelli walks you through key features of the Android app, screen-by-screen. These design previews, one for voice talent members and one for client members will give you a good idea of how the app works.
While viewing the videos, you'll learn how to use Voices.com on your Android phone or tablet and become familiar with editing your profile, reviewing jobs, managing payments and communicating with messages.

This is exciting news! I'm a SAG-AFTRA VO Talent and I'm looking forward to using your app! I hope this will be available to non-premium paying talent. I joined another pay 2 play site close to 7 years ago as a non-premium member and got my best client from a producer at a major ad agency. That day I upgraded to their premium membership that is still profitable today. Although I found it very difficult to search for myself either by name or unique accent on your site, I'd like to see similar success work for me on Voices.com! Have Android: Will be ready!

Any Voices.com member will be able to use the app. So long as a member (Guests included) has a demo on their profile, it is searchable on our website. If a talent does not have any audio on their profile, they do not appear as only talent whose voices can be listened to on the site are listed in our search results.
I did a search for your name and did get to your profile. The thing you need to be careful of is including your name exactly as it appears on your profile. If you were looking for Theresa Daniels, nothing would have come up. When I searched for Theresa Mignonne Daniels, your profile was presented to me as a result of my search. If people are looking for you based upon first name last name, you may (at present) want to remove the middle name Mignonne if you feel that people are trying to find you by only your first and last names. I hope that helps!
